Pancharatna Dal is made of five lentils (split mung bean, split pigeon pea, mungbean, split black lentil and hulled chickpea) and is delicately flavored with onion, cumin, chili and other carefully chosen blend of spices. Pancharatna Dal is a good source of protein and dietary fiber. When served hot with rotis or basmati rice, it makes for a wonderful mouth-watering dish.
